DEPECHE MODE

DELTA MACHINE Het 13e studioalbum van Depeche Mode, ‘Delta Machine’, komt wereldwijd uit op 25 maart op Columbia Records. Het album, opgenomen in Santa Barbara, Californie en New York, is geproduceerd door Ben Hillier en gemixed door Flood. The video voor de eerste single, ‘Heaven’, zal op vrijdag 1 februari in premiere gaan. Naast een standaard 1CD zal Depeche Mode ook een exclusieve Deluxe Edition 2CD uitbrengen met 4 extra nieuwe tracks en een 28-pagina’s hardcover booklet, met foto’s van Anton Corbijn. Daarnaast verschijnt ook een vinyl editie (2LP).

Martin Gore over de nieuwe release: “Writing this album was incredibly daunting as I wanted the sound of this collection to be very modern. I want people to feel good about listening to this record, to get some kind of peace. It’s just got something magical about it.” Dave Gahan voegt hieraan toe: “With this release we’ve completely shifted our idea of how to create an album. When we hit a wall where we realize the album is beginning to sound too normal, we’ll mess it up and really give it that organic Depeche Mode Sound. Delta Machine is no different, and I can’t wait for all of our fans to hear it.”
