Talihina Sky is het verhaal van Kings Of Leon, waarin een strenge religieuze opvoeding in Oklahoma en Tennessee voorafging aan hun onwaarschijnlijke transformatie in een van de grootste rockbands ter wereld. De Kings of Leon documentaire begint bij de jaarlijkse Followill familie reünie in de bossen van Talihina, Oklahoma, waar de band terugkeert naar hun roots.
Een verzameling persoonlijke home-video’s, openhartige interviews met familieleden en behind-the-scenes beelden vertelt het verhaal van de reis van Kings Of Leon, die begint in een klein dorp - samen op pad met hun vader, een Pentecostal predikant, en hun toegewijde moeder, op weg naar het leven van een rockster.
