Dit album is de muzikale omlijsting van de nieuwe op 27 maart 2015 geopende tentoonstelling in de "Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum". De cd bevat 36 pop, rock en folk tracks opgenomen in Nashville of met Nashville sessiemuzikanten, waaronder werken van Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel en nog veel meer. Inclusief een nog niet eerder uitgebrachte versie van Bob Dylan's "If Not For You".
Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The Byrds, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, Linda Ronstadt en The Monkees waren allemaal rock en folk artiesten die naar Nashville kwamen om in de late jaren 1960 en begin 1970 opnames te maken met de veelzijdige sessiemuzikanten van de "Nashville Cats". Ondanks de reputatie van conservatieve stad is Nashville de thuisbasis van muzikanten die een enorme invloed hebben gehad op veel muziek genres van deze tijd.
